My girlfriend and I had been dating for more than two years when in February 2008 we took a walk around a lake we frequently visited and I asked her if she would marry me. We planned a wedding for August 2008 about the date of our anniversary. Planning a wedding is a lot of work so she stopped working a few months before the wedding day to focus on the many wedding details.
